KAM microbial cultures have successfully been used to biodegrade chemical contaminants in the environment, including hydrocarbons, PCBs, Fatty Acids, and vinyl chloride, among many others.

KAM technologies are ecologically sound natural processes that provide ultimate disposal since residues from the biological treatments are usually harmless by-products. In addition, most processes are performed on site, and clean up costs are less expensive than alternate technologies.
